Hollows Farm Booking Terms

Bookings for self catering accommodation, glamping and camping at Hollows Farm can be made directly via the website, by enquiring over phone or email and through third party booking websites (e.g. booking.com, airBnB, etc). Third party bookings are provisional until confirmed directly by Hollows Farm.

Payments for our self catering accommodation, glamping and camping require a 25% deposit paid online at the time of booking. Depending on how you book, the remaining 75% will be paid in advance online or by cash or card on arrival. Deposit is non refundable. Cancellation 48hrs before arrival will incur no extra charge, cancellations less than 48hrs before arrival will be charged the full amount of the booking.

Booking Confirmation

Following your booking and confirmed deposit/balance payment you will receive a receipt confirming your payment. Deposits are non-refundable and may only be transferred at the site’s discretion. Please bring your booking receipt when arriving at the site. Any booking that has not had its deposit paid by the due date will be cancelled with any monies already paid being forfeited.

Conditions of Booking

We reserve the right to decline or terminate the booking of any guest(s) whose party make-up or behaviour interferes or may interfere with the general comfort of other guests. In this event no refunds will be made. Hollows Farm and its facilities are intended for family holidays. We are therefore sorry that we cannot accept any parties of single people.

Rules and Regulations

The person completing the booking is responsible for the conduct of their party, It is your responsibility to read the rules & regulations and abide by the rules therein. Not reading the rules is not an excuse for infringement. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking without refund. Hollows Farm reserves the right to ban individuals from future use of the site.

Liability

Anyone defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment or property of the site faces immediate eviction and prosecution. The accommodation hirer will be responsible for and charged for any damage /loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the accommodation or to any site facility or other resident’s property. Your personal belongings, vehicles, vans and their accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Hollows Farm or its staff will not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of any property nor for any injury, accident or mishap to any person in the site. Customers must ensure that their property is secured and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality.

Data Protection

The information taken at time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation with us. We may process your data to keep you informed of our activities and to keep you updated with news, offers and other information that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information for the marketing purposes described in this paragraph, please let us know.

Self catering accommodation and glamping

Check-in time on the day of arrival for self catering accommodation and glamping will be 3pm onwards. All our properties are self check-in using a lockbox for property keys. The lockbox code will be sent to you in advance. Check-out times will be specified in your confirmation email. Please return keys to the lockbox and make sure everything is turned off in your property prior to departure. If you are more than 30 minutes late to check out, a £50 fine will incur. All guests to be declared upon booking, no extra guests will be allowed to stay at the property without prior arrangement. Dog friendly properties allow a maximum of 1 dog per booking, unless previously discussed and approved prior to booking. Dogs must not be left unattended in the property during your stay. Dogs must be kept off furniture during your stay. We ask that all dogs remain on leads at all times on our property, and all dog poo must be picked up and disposed of in allocated bins. No smoking, vaping or parties. We do not allow smoking or vaping anywhere on our site. Quiet time from 10.30pm- 7am. Please respect the property during your stay, any damages will be charged for in full. The owners reserve the right to remove guests from the property if they are found to be damaging or disrespectful during their stay. Please note Hollows Farm is a working farm, while we keep the site as peaceful as possible, some noise is to be expected. Livestock and farm dogs will be in and around the farmyard during your stay.

Camping

Check in time on the day of arrival is anytime between 12 noon – 9pm. Please follow check in details on your confirmation email when you arrive onsite. The ‘Open Field’ has allocated pitch space, please pitch within the space allocated on your booking confirmation email. The ‘Woodland Field’ is unreserved, please pitch wherever you would like to on the field. Check out on your day of departure by 11am and please leave your pitch clean and free of any litter.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. It is particularly important that you always know where your children are, and that you provide adequate supervision for them at all times.

Pets are welcome at Hollows Farm campsite, but must be kept on the lead and under close control at all times. Pets must not be left unattended. Pets must be cleaned up after and any mess disposed of in appropriate waste bins. Any persons with pets showing signs of aggression or deemed dangerous to other site users will be asked to leave the site immediately, no refunds will be given.

Site Rules

  • BBQs and charcoal/briquette fire pits allowed IF OFF THE GRASS, any BBQs or fires burning the grass will be immediately removed. NO BURNING WOOD.
  • Quiet time is 10.30pm – 7am.
  • No parties or excessive alcohol consumption. We reserve the right to remove any person from the site who is deemed to be problematic or disrespectful
  • No generators allowed onsite
  • Please leave your pitch by 11am on the day of departure.

We cannot accept responsibility or compensation for circumstances beyond our control including (but not limited to) industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, technical problems, bad weather and acts of government.

Amendments to your booking

After you have paid your Deposit/Balance you may wish to change some elements of the Holiday, e.g. type of accommodation or duration. We will try to meet your request. It may be necessary to cancel your break due to illness, accident or change of circumstances. We cannot guarantee a full refund, however we will endeavour to come to an arrangement. Failure to arrive without satisfactory explanation or written cancellation will not be entitled to a transfer of stay.

Despite our best efforts, it is always possible that a holiday may be incorrectly priced. In such an event, we may contact you and give you the option to either:

  • Pay the correct price to retain your booking;
  • · Cancel your booking and receive a full refund

If we make any major alterations to your booking We try very hard to provide all facilities as advertised on our website. It may however be necessary to make some alterations in advance of your holiday. If such a change is necessary, we will endeavour to advise you in writing as soon as possible. If we cancel your booking We always endeavour not to change the date or cancel your booking, but in exceptional circumstances this may be necessary. We will inform you of the change of date or cancellation as soon as possible and give you the following options.

  • accept the alternative arrangements as notified to you
  • . choose another available break from us at the advertised price
  • cancel your holiday with a full refund of any money you have paid
